Bridging the Gap: Accessible and Reliable Public Transportation

Project Description:

This project aims to improve public transportation access for low-income communities outside Mecklenburg County.

As a Web Developer for the local transit system, Alexys found a gap in how these communities use and connect with transit.

Public transportation is key for reducing carbon footprints and providing access to jobs, healthcare, and food. Alexys will work with stakeholders like NC 211 and CATS to create an outreach program that addresses these transportation needs.
